CIM appoints new Chief Executive

CIM appointed Chris Daly as its Chief Executive in February following his post as Acting Chief Executive since December 2015, where he lead a dynamic and dedicated team.

On his appointment, Chris commented: "I'm delighted to take on the role as CIM’s Chief Executive, and to lead such a dynamic and dedicated team. CIM’s vision is for marketing to be recognised as a responsible profession, playing a pivotal role in achieving business success. I feel my years of experience both inside and outside of the organisation will assist me in driving this forward and achieving this vision."

On 30 March 2016, Mr Makshoodh Meerasaibu, Marketing Director at Unilever Sri Lanka, presented at CIM Sri Lanka's second Talking Point for 2016 titled 'Double-Decker Dilemma'. The talk focused on broadening the perspective on our approach to Marketing to overcome the "usual dilemmas" we face. There were nearly 130 participants at the event. The event was held at the Ramada, Colombo.
